This week we are coming to the end of our Intentional Health webinar series, finishing on a high by celebrating with positive thoughts and joy!

We originally set out to create and deliver 20 webinars, sharing some of the content from our ten session Intentional Health programme.

Whilst this has been loads of fun, and we've learned an awful lot, we've also learned that it isn't quite as easy as other professionals make it look!

I am hugely grateful for the team of people who have made it possible and also the people who have taken the time to attend live or given us feedback!

If that is you... Thank you!! :)

We hope that this may inspire you to find out more about Intentional Health, and join in with a community programme near you, or share the content with others if you find it helpful.

This week in our final three sessions before we break for summer, Tom, Gareth and I explore how our thoughts and feelings, being grateful and celebrating our successes all contribute to a healthy, happy life.

If you want to join us live (or want to be notified of the replay!), you can do so by registering using the links below.

Thoughts & Feelings - Monday 17th July 19:30  (BST) https://app.webinarjam.net/register/35515/9ad64f977f

If you meant to watch some of the series, but have not got round to it yet, next week, we'll publish a list with links to all of the webinar replays, which will be available for you to watch at your leisure.

The week after we hope to feature a guest post while I'll be having a much needed holiday with family  - so watch this space!

The week after we'll be at the Creationfest - Do come and say hello if you are attending!

How many units?

If you missed Tom and Gareth's 30-minute alcohol webinar last week, you can watch the replay by clicking here.

Despite having technology issues at the start, and Tom inadvertently pressing something for a few minutes in between, the lads did well!

There is a free "How many units", and a "true or false" quiz, in the accompanying worksheet. We can send you that if you click here.

How many webinars this week?

This week, Tonya and I are hosting a 3 part mini-series on our emotional health and wellbeing, especially how we can really benefit when we are intentional with our boundaries, communication and healthy positive conflict.

These will run 10 am (BST)on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.

You can sign up for these by clicking the links below.

Boundaries - Tues 4th July 10:00

Saying No - Wed 5th July 10:00

Don't forget you need to sign up now to get the replay details so even if you can't make 10:00 BST, still register and watch us later!

How many webinars left?

After this week, we will only have 4 webinars left in our series of 20!

It is so much fun when you join us live and can chat, and we'd love to give you a mention if we can! Sign up below to attend these live.

P.S. Oh, and if you are wondering...

How many seeds in a sunflower head?

Bright, bright sun-shiny day?

As I write this blog, my husband Gareth and I are sat on the train to London on route to seeing Hothouse Flowers (His Christmas present!)

The song I most remember listening to by this band in my university years begins with these words...

I can see clearly now the rain has gone,

I can see all obstacles in my way…

As I was thinking about this, it reminded me of how different things appear with alternative perspectives. Or, how much easier things can appear when we can also see, and therefore navigate around, the obstacles in our way.

There have been many moments in my life that at the time seemed like I might never make it through, things would never be resolved, or everything seemed hopeless. My thoughts were consumed and moving in a downward spiral.

Have you ever had times like this?

When this type of thinking is repeated over and over, ingrained negative thought habits are created, meaning it becomes harder to even recognise we are thinking that way.

What I have noticed, is that there are also days when it seems like the sun doesn’t exist, especially when it hides behind cloud and mizzle (Cornish for rainy drizzle!)

But the TRUE Truth is, that the sun is still there, and if you had the chance to hop on a plane and fly up above the clouds - that new perspective brings with it a crystal clear blue sky and sunshine view.

The TRUE Truth about us, is that we do have the ability to manage our thoughts and rise above the clouds.

Sometimes, we just need to take a minute to step back from our circumstances to see the big picture in our day to day and identify what obstacles are in our way... Although this usually is far easier said than done - it IS at least in our ability to chose to give it a try.

One of the ways we suggest to manage these negative thoughts is to have an Intentional Health 5 Minute Worry Time

I’ll be running a short FREE live webinar on how we do exactly this in the next few weeks, walking you through it step by step, and I’d love you to join in (for those of you who have never experienced a webinar before, it is a little like a live video broadcast, that you can join in with!).

If you would like to be the FIRST to hear about when we are starting these please enter your name and email below and hit the subscribe button*!

*You aren’t committed to anything at this stage, just indicating you would like to find out more!

In the meantime, I also find that something as simple as getting some fresh air, going for a walk, getting to bed early for a decent night sleep, or spending some time with an encouraging friend can be helpful. Maybe that might also be just enough to help you regain perspective and believe that it could be a bright sun-shiny day again soon too

Why not make some else's day brighter by sharing this?
