The Intentional Health programme is accessible for people of all faiths and none, but is founded on and operates according to Christian beliefs.
We only collaborate with Christian/Church partners who agree with our statement of faith which can be seen here:
STATEMENT OF FAITH
Intentional Health subscribes to the following beliefs:
We believe that God has existed since the beginning of time as three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that he created everything we can see (and can’t see) out of nothing.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Fully God and fully human, he lived a perfect (sinless) life, before sacrificing himself to die on the cross to pay the price for our sin and disobedience. After three days, he rose from the grave and ascended to Heaven, beating sin and death once and for all.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a full and equal part of the Trinity, sent into the world to live inside of everyone that accepts Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. The Spirit is our power source for life, ministry and spiritual growth.
We believe that the Bible is God’s love letter to all humanity. Complete truth and the final authority on every issue, God Himself chose every word of Scripture and inspired human authors - by the Holy Spirit - to write it all down.
We believe that through faith in Jesus and what he did for us on the cross, and in turning away from our own disobedience (sin), we are made right with God. This is called Salvation – a free gift that we cannot earn.
We believe that the church is the body of Christ; a body of believers acting as Jesus’ hands and feet in the world today. Jesus Christ is the head of the church.
We believe that according to His promise, Jesus Christ will one day return in glory to the earth, to establish his kingdom forever and judge all people in righteousness. Those who believe in him will live forever with Christ in eternity.
